April was last seen on January 11, 2000 leaving an apartment complex in the 500 block of Marion Road in Wichita, Kansas.  A friend of hers told police she saw April heading towards Pawnee Street and Broadway between 10:00 PM - 10:30 PM that same evening.  Police think she may have her pager, apartment keys, and wallet with her.  April was scheduled to testify in a felony trial two days after she disappeared, which police are not certain that has to do with her disappearance.  At first April was classified as a runaway, but police have since stated she disappeared under unclear circumstances.
