| Karol Marlene Sullens | ||||||
| Karol was last seen on August 31, 1991 on 7th Street in Galena, Kansas at the Valley Of The Dolls nightclub. She apparently went outside to talk to two men in a dark colored pickup truck with a camper shell. Karol was working as an exotic danger, and she has never been seen or heard from since. Police said they believe she died of a drug overdose, and her body was hidden by whoever supplied her with the drugs. Searches have been done along area waterways, abandoned mine shafts, and in wooded areas in Kansas and Oklahoma, but her body has never been found. In June of 2001, Donald D. Kidwell was charged with second-degree murder of Karol. The warrant used to arrest Kidwell states he was responsible for Karol's death, "unintentionally, but recklessly, under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life." In the days after Kidwell's arrest, police searched for Karol's body northwest of Galena.
