Randy was a senior at Linwood High School, and he was last seen at a graduation party in rurual Linwood, Kansas on April 16, 1988. Through various accounts, it was said he was to intoxicated to walk straight between that time and the last time he was reportedly seen sometime between 1:15 AM and 2:00 AM on Saturday. Randy was driving his family's car, a gray 1985 Dodge Sedan 600 with Kansas plates LVJ8721. Neither that car and Randy have ever been seen again. A fire later destroyed the house where the party was held. There are some who believe Randy was abducted by a Satanic cult due to the area where the party had been held had been vigorously cleaned. Randy was reported missing by his parents on April 16th when he didn't come home. Police believe he didn't leave willingly because he left behind a 1966 Dodge Mustang he was restoring, along with his family and friends saying he had no plans of leaving home. His father described him as being an entrepeneur and a hard worker. In December of 2002, Randy's case was reclassified from a missing persons case to a homicide. Police believe he was murdered sometime after his disappearance. A team of twelve detectives made Randy's case the focus of a renewed investigation and are reinterviewing guests who were at the party the night Randy disappeared.
